About Me

My name is Laura Innes and I have been running Dogsbuddy since April 2007. I have a real passion for dogs, so to work with them full-time is a dream come true. What I really enjoy is getting to know each dog's personality and having an extra special bond with that dog - I suppose I am a best friend to them! Some dogs I have cared for since they were pups and it is great to see the changes in their personality as they become more confident in themselves. All the dogs I walk and care for get along happily with one another and enjoy their time with Dogsbuddy. If any of my clients have a problem or just need some general advice they know that they can just call or drop me an e-mail and I will help in any way that I can.
As well as running Dogsbuddy I also train and compete at Championship Level in Dog Agility (see the Agility page for more information). My achievements to date are competing at Olympia twice, the Scottish Dog of the Year and the Pedigree Highland Agility Stakes. This year (May 2011) I am representing Scotland as part of a team in the World Agility Open Championships. This is a big event for Scotland I feel honoured to be part of this team. My next step will be Crufts......!
